Martinis (shaken, not stirred) are the stars of the menu, followed by a lineup of pretty cocktails based on the most memorable Bond girls. Those who prefer strong, barrel-aged spirits can choose from an enviable selection of whisky.

FUZZ  – Old Town

Probably the coolest entrance to any bar in Poznan. Run by two brothers and one of their girlfriends, Fuzz is an everything friendly bar with beer, wine, coffee and we think the best calamari sandwich in the city.

Also, expect more cool snacks mostly made by the owners. Fuzz is also one of the only places which captures the Berliner vibe. Expect quality street food, music and cool people from both side of the bar. Ice cool.

Meduza Shisha Bar | Old Town

Poznańs newest shisha bar located a stone’s throw from the market square. With various coves and levels including a small garden at the rear, Meduza is a very cozy hangout.

Expect some great cocktails also to tickle your fancy to accompany your smoke on. Meduza had a slow start but is gaining traction and is fast becoming a cool place to be.

Wiśniewski – Old Town

The main theme here is wiśniówka which is a traditional Polish cherry vodka made in small batches by Wiśniewski’s crew.

With bottles of their product lining the walls, discrete neons, and huge cherry lights dangling from the ceiling, this unique bar offers more than your run-of-the-mill alcohol experience. They are not the cheapest shots in town with shots starting at 11PLN, but if you want to mix with the in crowd then that’s the price you have to pay.

Bar Susznia – Old Town

This bar is the final word in industrial chic, with metal floors, exposed brickwork and super high ceilings.

The molecular cocktails are truly a piece of art. An in-house cigar lounge and extensive selection of wines complete the look. If you really want to impress then this is probably the place to try first. Absolute class act!

Miejscówka – Old Town

Very ‘current’ looking bar with neons and exposed brick. The target group here is the more hipster types, so expect lots of whimsical cocktails and colourful shots. Definitely one to tick off the list.

Pod Minogą – Old Town

A brick bar and naked girders complete the look of this ultra late night venue. The music policy is as alternative as ever, and loud parties take place here on the weekends and normally last until the sun comes up the next day. Expect a studenty crowd which means lots of drunk people!

Wariat – Old Town

We love Wariat’s signature shots which really are quite good, as are the assorted cocktails. Cold vodka and Polish beer are available for those who distrust multicolored drinks. Always packed full of pretty girls!

12 taps with some very interesting beers on them and around 200 bottled beers. A very specific local Poznań atmosphere inside.

Wściekły Chmiel – Old Town

Small Craft beer & Nitro Coffee establishment with18 taps of Polish craft beers. The smallness of this place adds to the charm and the bartenders know their stuff. Highly recommended.

Ministerstwo Browaru – Old Town

One of our favorite haunts for Polish craft beers. Ministry of Beer offers an impressive number of brands and types of beer.

They come from all over the world, but the pub’s specialty is mostly beers from small regional Polish breweries. Many German beers, as well as Belgian brands, can be also found here. It also has our favorite beer garden in the Old Town!

Caballero – Old Town

A cigar lounge is an excellent place for like-minded individuals to relax, network and get together with friends. For those who do attend, many use the opportunity to learn more about cigars, sample various cigars and purchase them as well.

One such place is Caballero – Cigar & Whisky Bar on the corner of Szewska and Dominikanska street. If you want some time out, sample a cigar and try some whiskey. Highly recommended!

MUS bar – City Center

The fifteenth floor of Poznań’s new Bałtyk building (at Rondo Kaponiera) offers a stunning panoramic view of the city.

Expect an excellent cocktail bar and some interesting signature drinks. Very classy indeed. One of those places you visit with your brand new sneakers on. Old and dirty sneakers will be frowned on.

Cuba Libre Social Club – Old Town

The Social Club is an exclusive Cuban-themed cocktail bar with a focus on fine rum; try, for instance, their mojito made with Havana Club Añejo 3 años white rum.

Expect live Latin American music and dj’s playing Latino style beats until the early hours of the morning. If you like to be in the market square then this is the place for a good night out!

Miasto bar – Old Town

An industrial bar with an urban charm, Miasto is king when it comes to alcohol on Szewska street right now. Packed on most nights and on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, stuffed like sardines.

We love the huge windows which fold up in the summer months allowing Miasto to breathe and exude hipster, especially during live music nights!

Pub56  – Old Town

The owners wanted to create a cozy place so you will find plenty of rugs and soft armchairs. In spite of its modern touches, the owner wants to create an old school type pub atmosphere of which he does very well.

Bistro Tancereczka – Old Town

Tancereczka has a large selection of booze including vodka of which they have their own homemade vodka also. They also specialize in craft beer but for us you need to try the homemade vodka!

It’s loud and it’s hip and you can even purchase small bottles of that homemade vodka for when you get home!

Hola Hola – Old Town

Hola Hola is packed by the minute the sun sets on a weekend night. You can’t miss it when walking along Poznań’s party street, and if you like to drink in the centre of action, this might just be for you.

Trendy light fixtures, exposed brick, and drinks served in mason jars all add to the Wroclawska street vibe.

źródło.bar – Old Town

The interior decor is spot-on, veering away from tired hipster cliches towards geometric furniture. If whiskey and cocktails arent enought, there’s also plenty of craft beer, cider, sangria, rum, and shots to get you drunk.
