Authors of the report on pedophilia in the Polish Church confirm our biggest worries that bishops knew what was happening, let it continue, covered it up and did not report individual cases to the authorities. Below are just a few such cases. Shame on you all!

A Cardinal who was the superior of the Archdiocese of Warsaw and the former Diocese of Koszalin-Kołobrzeg
On April 30, 2005, the court sentenced Fr. Jerzy Uberman bishop for molesting children. Kazimierz Nycz, then in the diocese of Koszalin-Kołobrzeg, knew about what was happening and simply moved Jerzy Uberman to work in Barcin near Słupsk. Shame on you!

Sławoj Leszek Głódź. Gdansk
The Archbishop of the Metropolitan of Gdańsk according to the report did not report Father Mirosław Bużan, a former parish priest in Bojana, who was convicted later for molesting a 15-year-old. Instead, he tried to cover it up by transferring the priest from the parish to the Tiberias Center in Nadole. There was no church inquiry against Sławoj Głódż. Shame on you!

Marian Gołębiewski. Wrocław
Marian Gołębiewski – Senior Archbishop of Wrocław Archbishop transferred priest Paweł Kania from the parish to parish. Father Kania is currently serving a sentence of seven years imprisonment for numerous molestations. When a trial against this priest for pedophile pornography and the bullying of boys started, he was transferred by Marian Gołębiewski from the diocese of Wrocław to the diocese of Bydgoszcz. Shame on you!

Henryk Gulbinowicz – The then Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Wrocław,
personally vouched for priest Paweł Kania who is currently serving a sentence of seven years imprisonment. He was aware of his crimes at the time. Shame on you!
Henryk Hoser. Warsaw
Henryk Hoser – Archbishop of the diocese of Warsaw-Praga knew about the charges against Fr. Grzegorz K., who in January 2014 was sentenced to
The reports say that although Grzegorz K. was heavily accused of pedophilia, for the next two years, Henryk Hoser transferred the priest to Warsaw’s Tarchomin, where he looked after 32 altar boys even after the verdict. Shame on you!
Marek Jędraszewski. Kraków
Marek Jędraszewski – The Archbishop of the Metropolitan of Krakow
stubbornly ignored the delegations of the clerics who came to him with requests for help regarding Archbishop Sr. Juliusz Paetz who in 2002 was accused of molesting clerics and priests. He also organized the action of signing letters of support for Paetz. Shame on you!
Józef Michalik
Jozef Michalik – The Archbishop of Przemyśl Archdiocese not only supports priests of sexual violence against children but also does not publicly acknowledge their responsibility for pedophilic acts. Shame on you!
Alojzy Orszulik . Łowicz
Alojzy Orszulik – the Senior Bishop of the Łowicz diocese did not inform the Vatican or local authorities about the case of Fr. Wincenty Pawłowicz, who was later legally convicted for molesting five altar boys in the village of Witonia near Łowicz for three years imprisonment. Shame on you!
Andrzej Suski. Torun
Andrzej Suski – The Senior Bishop of the Toruń diocese interrogated alter boys between the ages of 9-18 regarding the case of priest Jarosława P who was accused by them for sexual misconduct. He told them no one would believe them because they were homosexual and tried to convince them to keep quiet. Shame on you!
Andrzej Czaja. Opole
Andrzej Czaja – The Bishop of the Diocese of Opole transferred priest Mariusz K. – the perpetrator of sexual violence against a minister under the age of 15 – from Jemielnica to another parish. He also convinced the boy’s mother not to report the matter to the police and he himself did not inform the crime to law enforcement.
These are just a few of the cases we read about in the report and is absolutely incredible. Are we to believe this cancer in the church and has been eradicated? NO. We are sure it is still going on. Only a fool would think otherwise. I for one will never ever leave my children alone in the presence of a priest. Not to say that all priests are pedophiles but if they know what’s happening that’s just as bad in my eyes! SHAME ON YOU ALL!!!
