January 2019
13 January – WOŚP run. Count up with Diabetes (5km)
As in previous years, 5,000 participants will run 5 km through the streets of the center of Warsaw, and insulin pumps for pregnant women with diabetes will be purchased for money obtained from starter packs.
January 20 – Chomiczówki Run (15km) and Bielany Cup Race (5km)
Thirty-sixth edition of the Chomiczówki Race, held over a distance of 15 kilometers, will traditionally take place on the third Sunday of the year – this time the date falls on January 20, 2019. The event will be accompanied by 14. Run for Bielan Cup, which will be five kilometers long. LINK
February 2019
February 2 – Wedel Race (1.86, 5.43 or 9 km)
Organized for adults and children. The youngest running enthusiasts will be able to compete on two distances – 250 m and 1.86 km. Adults, in turn, will compete on two routes with a length of 5.43 km and 9 km. In addition, Nordic walking, O-Run and running orienteering events will be
24 February – Wiązowski Half Marathon (5km and 21.1km)
From 2016, the Wiązowski Half Marathon is part of the Brest Prix Grand Prix, a series of running events that take place near the historic Brest Route. Last year’s edition of the Grand Prix was received with great enthusiasm in the runners’ milieu. The run is well organized and attracts attention with beautiful medal designs. LINK
March 2019
March 31 – Warsaw
A running institution. First of all, it tempts with a spectacular route. – It is always very important for us to show Warsaw from the best side – says Magda Skrocka from the Warsaw Marathon Foundation, which organizes the run. – We promote the city among runners from outside the capital and other countries. April 2019
April 14 – Orlen Warsaw Marathon (42.2km) and Oshee Run (10km)
The first of the two biggest marathons in Warsaw will take place on Sunday, April 14, and will be accompanied by a 10 km Oshee Run, designed for less advanced runners. LINK
May 2019
May 3 – Constitution of May 3 (5km)
Participants will run via the traditional route around Łazienek, five kilometers long. The course of the Constitution in Warsaw will
May – Ekiden, marathon relay (5km, 7.195km and 10km)
Ekiden is a marathon relay race in which 6-person teams take part. 42.2 km run is split between the team (10 + 10 +7.2 + 5 + 5 + 5), and at the end all competitors receive 1/6 of a large joint medal. The basic starting fee for teams choosing the traditional registration path is PLN 432 (PLN 72 / person). The starting fee for teams applying for supplementary registration is PLN 648 (PLN 108 / person). LINK
June 2019
June – Ursynów Race (5km)
The competition will be held over a distance of 5 km. In this year’s edition of one of the fastest “Fridays” in Poland, starting places are limited to 2500. In the starter package, players will receive, among others a technical shirt. The exact date is not yet known, but it will definitely take place in June.
July 2019
July – Run of the Warsaw Uprising (10km)
This is the second of three gears included in the Warsaw Triad Biegowa “Zabiegaj o pamięć”. The course is traditionally played in July in the evening. Its exact date is not known yet.
August 2019
August 31 – Praga Half-marathon (21.1km) and Prague Five (5km)
The sixth edition of the only half-marathon played entirely on the right side of the Vistula will also be held in the dark this time. The run will start at 20.30 and the half-marathon will be accompanied by 4F Piątka Praska for less advanced runners. The start of the Praski Half-marathon will be located on the illuminated grounds of the National Stadium. LINK
September 2019
September 29 – Warsaw Marathon
The Warsaw Marathon is the second oldest run at a distance of 42,195 kilometers in Poland. The race usually takes place on the last Sunday of September, and its first edition took place forty years ago, on September 30, 1979. Then the length of the route was about 41.6 km. LINK
October 2019
Warsaw Run (10km)
The Warsaw Run is a top-ranking race event in Warsaw. Every year, it enjoys great interest with nearly 10,000 taking part in each edition. In 2018, the route ran through the very center of Warsaw. LINK
